Miles Joseph Studios delivers a client experience unmatched by stylists and salon owners in the greater Hartford, CT area. As a destination for reinvention, it brings big, bold ideas together and combines vintage and modern aesthetics to inspire timeless, sexy, charming choices by clients in the chair. I felt that a studio that offers all this, and aims to establish a legacy of leadership in its industry, deserved to be represented by effective branding and clean, professional web and social media content. The studio had a defined taste but was in need of a cohesive, comprehensive rebrand to showcase their style across their platforms.
THE SOLUTION
It was crucial for the salon logo to reflect a lively, youthful, sexy salon channeling some serious retro California chic vibes. I worked with the team at Miles Joseph Studios to assemble inspiration boards and led numerous discussions to develop brand traits and decide on brand characteristics. After deciding on the branding, I redesigned the salon website into a better functioning, visually appealing destination for clients to book appointments and interface with the salon directly.

Since the rebrand, Miles Joseph Studios has completely redesigned its studio, providing an opportunity to display its new brand assets in a physical space. The defined brand palette and graphic assets have allowed the team to improve the look of the salon's social media profiles and produce more cohesive, branded marketing collateral.
