One high school in North Salem, New York had a particularly unique graduation ceremony to celebrate the class of 2020. Aside from the need to adapt during the coronavirus pandemic, the graduates at this school were also treated to virtual remarks from TODAY anchor Hoda Kotb. Famous for her role on the NBC morning show, Kotb is widely celebrated for earnest approach to reporting and commitment to boosting the day for her viewers with good news and heartwarming stories.

As a longtime viewer of TODAY and fan of Kotb, I was particularly inspired by this segment and enjoyed translating her words into a motion graphics display of encouragement. This video was produced with the use of Adobe After Effects.
